SUNSET IN THE MOJAVE

Sunset in the Mojave, 2021 locates itself at the military replicas that populate the American landscape, particualry the Mojave Desert. Considering the metaphorical nature and material violence of the sites by examining their multifaceted roles as sites of public spectacle and training operations the film reimagines and expands the historical gestures that define military histories and our proximity to and within them.
